Much thanks to my good friend Christine, who attended the event last november, we have added now some images more of Mary at the LEA awards during her speech on stage and at the “red carpet”. Take a look and don’t forget to keep the tag on the picture and always credit if you take one. Thank you!

My dear followers, in addition to doing a european tour of convention this year, Mary has just been announced as a guest to Heroes & Villains FanFest in Nashville, US.
So go ahead on their website, get info – they might yet have to write an entry for her – and keep an eye for photo ops, autographs and ticket prices. Good hunting!

Among the many role which Mary played, all with the same passion and dedication, was also the one of Jules O’Grady from the TV-Show That’s Life. Jules is a single parent who became a mother in her teen age and has a very difficult relationship with her daughter Jackie and also with alcohol and smoking. In both episodes she guest starred it’s evident how Jules wished her relationship was different but a little bit of pride and the influence of alcohol are making it very difficult to happen.
Enjoy the screencaptures, one behind the scenes picture and clips from both of them.

It has been a while since I posted screencaptures and clips from a TV movie Mary starrred in and today I picked The Locket, in which she played Helen Staples, perhaps for a vicinity of mine towards nursing homes, but also because it is a great movie starring Chad Willett, Marguerite Moreau and the timeless Vanessa Redgrave.
Mary’s part was of a certain impact. She’s not the protagonist but brought a beautiful touch to the scenes, and a whiteness that touch my heart.
Enjoy the screencaptures and the clips!
A young man taking care of his dying mother is distraught and grief-stricken when she finally passes away. On the advice of his doctor, he takes a job in an upscale nursing home, and is assigned to take care of an elderly woman named Esther. At first Esther is a bitter, angry woman and pushes him away, but as she gradually warms to him, he discovers that he and Esther have much more in common than he imagined.

In these quite times from news and photos I love finding old stuff that can be added to the gallery, and so is the case for this magazine scan from Parade from March 1993.
To simplify the reading for everyone I have transcribed the interview in our press archive.

I do love events! It’s a fact. And when a new year start I feel a strong sensation of happiness to add the category of the new year. So we start, first event of 2018 for Mary (accompanied by her daughter Olivia Jane Mell) at Casting Society Of America’s 33rd Annual Artios Awards.
There aren’t many pictures around really and I did what I could, but I’ll keep looking. Enjoy them!
